I returned safely yesterday from a three-week trip to Arizona!
I stayed in Scottsdale (5 days), Oak Creek (7 days), and Sedona (8 days), hiking and biking everyday to recharge the energy of the power spots! (I suppose there is no word for “power spot” in English..)

I also went to the Grand Canyon, which I had longed to visit!

Personally, I liked Sedona better!
What I realized this time is that I like places where nature and the city are in harmony, and this Sedona and Goreme (Cappadocia) in Turkey, where I went a few years ago, were really great!
On the way back, I took a 2.5 hour local bus from Sedona to the airport, took a 3.5 hour flight to Vancouver, Canada, stayed overnight in Vancouver, then took a 9.5 hour flight to Narita Airport, took a 1.5 hour train to Shinagawa, took a 3.5 hour bullet train to Fukuyama, and stayed overnight.
The next day, I took a ferry from Onomichi to Ikuchijima, which was quite hard.
I took the bus from Sedona to the airport and got off at the Glendale area for a bus break, but it looked like a very unsafe area.
Compared to a decade ago, Vancouver also seems to be getting worse in terms of security, and there are many incidents of car windows being broken and stolen.
I feel that security is getting worse day by day in other countries, and I feel relieved when I come back to Ikuchi Island.

I hope to return to get more power at some point!
