Bali!

I have been in Bali, Indonesia for a week now!

I can’t stand Japanese summer, so I have been fleeing Japan every summer. After a lot of research at the end of last year, I found out that July in Bali is the middle of the dry season,

so I took a flight ticket in December last year.

Every time I go to South America, Europe, etc., I look for the cheapest ticket without worrying about the location or frequency of Transit,

When I went to Mexico City last year, I bought the cheapest flight tickets from Japan and took the flights from Japan to Texas (USA) to Guadalajara (Mexico) to Mexico City (Mexico).

I thought that I would definitely take an easy flight next time, after having experienced a week-long illness due to transit and jet lag,

However, I was so surprised at the price of JPY 50,000 round trip per person for the flight from Japan to Singapore to Bali that I rushed to get the ticket.

In Singapore, we stayed at the airport for about 10 hours….

And it has been raining heavily for five days in a row in Bali, which is supposed to be in the dry season… Many things happening this year, such as flooding in Texas and volcanic eruptions in Indonesia…

In the end, R●o Takaki’s prediction didn’t come true. I’m relieved.

The weather has improved since yesterday, and for the first time it was sunny!

The view from the hotel

This is my fourth time in Bali, and this time I am spending the first month in a jungle area called Ubud, near Monkey Forest.

The last time I was here was maybe 7 years ago. I was not interested in coffee and Indonesian food at that time, but this time, I went to many restaurants and found that the coffee and food are very good!

There are many varieties, and the quality of the food is beyond that of Vietnamese food! And it’s so cheap!

I’ve been studying real estate from scratch during my stay in Bali while drinking the absurdly delicious Flat White! I have enrolled in a course called “Real Estate Career Person”!

If I could pass the final exam, I will receive a real estate career person qualification registration certificate.

Bali really does have the cutest goods—I’ve only been here a week and I’ve already gone on a massive shopping spree! I’m so excited to decorate La Casa with everything! (Though I’m starting to worry whether I’ll be able to get it all back on the flight…)
